What makes it good

Universal input

Text, JSON, markdown, source code, images — Morph picks the right diff view automatically. No format toggle to fiddle with.

Plain-English summary

An AI describes what actually changed ("you shortened the intro and replaced 'customers' with 'users'") with a one-word vibe tag.

Multi-version timeline

Compare 2+ versions with a scrubber. Watch your work morph between revisions with smooth, character-level transitions.

Keyboard-first

Press j/k to jump between changes, ⌘S to save, drag to share. Built like a tool you'd reach for ten times a day.

Common questions

What can Morph diff?+

Anything text-based — plain text, JSON, markdown, source code — plus images. Paste, drop, or upload it. Morph auto-detects the format and picks the right view.

Is Morph free to use?+

Yes. The diff tool itself is fully free, no signup required. AI summaries are also free with a generous per-IP rate limit. Sign in to sync your diff history across devices.

Do my diffs leave my browser?+

The diff computation runs entirely in your browser — your text never touches a server. If you click AI summary, that single call goes to our server which proxies to a language model. We don't store the content of summarized diffs.

Can I share a diff with someone?+

Yes. Click Share — Morph encodes the whole diff into the URL hash, so the link works without any signup or server storage on either side.

Who built Morph?+

Morph is built by Bytelapse, a software agency specializing in fullstack development, data engineering, and AI products.
